I602: Intro to Multimedia Presentation Techniques

“And the sons of Issachar, which were men that had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do”
1 Chronicles 12:32

This course is designed to prepare our members to participate in one of the principle activities of the Institute, which is to monitor the strategic trends on our horizon and their relationship to the Biblical scenario that we are admonished to understand.

Instead of written “term papers,” which characterize the typical academic environment, members are given the opportunity to create and submit multimedia presentations (audio/visual presentations useful to communicate timely messages in a variety of environments including the Issachar Database, bible studies, churches, conferences, etc).

These multimedia presentations, which will be created in future Issachar classes, occur in three formats:

  • Bullet Briefings (“BBs”) — 5 minute presentations (Silver Medallion)
  • Topical Briefings (“TB’s”) — 15 minute presentations (Gold and beyond)
  • Comprehensive Briefings (“CB’s”) — 45 minute presentations - (Gold and beyond)

Each of these formats will utilize computer-assisted presentation techniques (such as PowerPoint, Impress, or others amenable to being archived in the IDB).

Important: PLEASE READ THE WRITTEN INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIAL. The introductory Issachar courses require written instructional material; including samples, helpful hints, etc. You will not be able to succeed in the course work without reading the information provided.
